Hello, I'm Amanda Preston, a committed beauty therapist certified by BABTAC and City and Guilds since 1996. Originating from England, I brought my expertise to New Zealand in 2001, where I honed my skills as a senior therapist at a prominent beauty clinic. In 2004, the joy of starting a family inspired a transformative career shift which led me to pursue higher education at Auckland University, earning both a Bachelor of Teaching Primary degree and a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood. This journey enriched my perspective and strengthened my dedication to nurture others, whether in the classroom or the beauty clinic.
I have since refreshed my knowledge and upskilled myself in some of the latest treatments within the beauty industry, where I can continue to nurture others through results driven and scientifically proven treatments and products.
This has led me to open my home based Skin Symphony Beauty Clinic within the beautiful tranquil setting of Oratia, where I am dedicated to enhancing your skin's health and your overall well-being.

During lockdown, I seized the opportunity to delve into online courses, reigniting my passion for beauty therapy. With a background in teaching and a new-found enthusiasm for the latest treatments, I embarked on a journey to merge my two passions. Drawing upon my initial career and enduring passion, coupled with rigorous training in cutting-edge lamination grooming treatments and advanced face and body therapies, I proudly established Skin Symphony Beauty Clinic.
